Second Treatment
I went two days ago for the second treatment. I did begin to sweat a bit about two weeks ago but it was nothing like it had been! The doctor told me this was normal and that he had no patients that have come back after the second treatment. He did up the strength from a 3 to a 4 and made the area treated bigger.
I feel the recovery this time has been much easier even after the higher strength, and the treatment itself was much more tolerable (read here the injections were easier to deal with). I did come home and ice for the rest of the day, and had swelling the next day but was able to go to work without too much discomfort. Last night I iced for about an hour and today I feel much better. Tender but not to excess, and the bruising is already going away.
All in all my doctor and the treatment are all I had hoped for and the results are wonderful. This treatment is life changing for me. I never do think about sweating or all the problems I used to have in trying to hide it.

I have had excessive sweating from my underarms...
I have had excessive sweating from my underarms since I was twelve, and I am now 48. I had looked into many different treatment possibilities and either nothing worked or it was too costly for something that was not permanent.
miraDry is the answer! I had my first treatment 20 days ago and am sweat free totally! It is such a relief! I can wear anything I want and do not have to worry anymore. From the reviews I have read I know it is possible to have some sweating after the first treatment, but I am not concerned if this happens as I am planning on getting treatment #2 to ensure it will be permanent.
I will say I have a high pain tolerance and still was not a fan of all the injections required, but in the end it was worth it and I am ready to go for #2 in 3 months.
The side effects others commented on such as bruising, swelling, tenderness, and small dumps are all real and I did have, but now it is day 20 and all that is left are a few small dumps I know will go away and some numbness that has gotten better each day. I never had any of the bad side effects other discuss and my treatment was level 3.

I totally LOVED Dr. Hotchandani! He is ready to explain everything and has a great comfortable and casual manner about him that helped me to relax. He performed the procedure himself and knew exactly what he was doing the whole time. He has a progressive practice all around and has done over a dozen miraDry procedures. I highly recommend him.
