Great staff. Friendly. Educated. Willing to answer any and every question. I had high BP (I was a bit nervous). They gave me some xanax, clonidine and Bystolic, but still no luck. BP remained too high for the procedure. Dr. Carlson allowed me to come in early saturday and still have the procedure done (my BP was finally controlled with the help of meds). Virtually painless, except for the "bee sting" when you get numbed. Tomorrow will be D#2. I am expecting some tenderness in the AM. I will update!!

Post op day three. Drainage is pretty much done. Still swelling, and lots of it. some bruising, mostly in my lower abdomen. One big complaint I have now is itching...driving me nuts! I understand it is a normal occurance after the procedure. I recently changed out my gauze for band aids with neosporin. Things are healing nicely (I think).

Post op day 12. Seeing the results. Swelling is better, but still there. I see many people commenting on the hardness after smartlipo. I find that massage and my compression garment is helping. I had a little trouble with my ports healing, finally now the two upper abdominal ports have scabbed over. I am really looking forward to being able to start working out, once I get to the two week point.

Every day that goes by I see more results. Amazing. Post op day 14 today. Still tender, still swollen. I have started massage, and it is definately helping.

I had my one month post op appointment today, and the measurements are awesome! Still with some hardness and fluid yet, but overall I am soooo happy with the results of my smart lipo. :)
