Spent: $750 in San Diego, CA

It hurt to get injections - both the numbers and the Radiesse itself -  but it was no worse than when you have to get  a lot of shots at the dentist. It helped to have a concerned and empathetic doctor. I went to Dr. Amir in San Diego. Nice guy, good credentials.

No bruising. Feels swollen but not flat-out painful. A few very tiny needle dots. Looks like maybe I have a few zits to the general public. Going back in a week so the doctor can see if I need a touch-up, which was included in my initial quote.

UPDATE: Two weeks later: I am very happy with the results. My labial folds (I learned that these are the creases on the sides of your smile) are much less deep, and I look younger. It may last from 9 months to a year.

I got my injections today in my laugh lines and I can say that it hurt a lot more than I thought it would. I'm a little swollen right now but that'll go down. I'm hoping it last for at lesat a year because I refuse to grow old gracefully unless gracefully means through injections!

Hi DL: how are you? hope you are feeling better. How long did it take you to recover? did you loose any sensation? can you make all facial expressions like before? I am currently considering getting radiesse on my smile lines, they are not so bad but I am very aware they are there and would like to change this (I have been thinking about this for a long time now). I am going on vacation in less than a month, Just wondering, can you be exposed to the sun quick after this procedure? also, I am 31 years old, I was just wondering how old are you? most of the search i have done online show before and after pictures of older people. thank you and i look forward on hearing form you...
