Good TCA - New Castle, PA

Worth It
Spent: $2,000 in

I got a TCA peel a few weeks ago and its pretty good. My skin was quite sun damaged with pigmentation of some sort, all over my cheek bones and nose. I guess at 50, these changes are bound to happen. But thanks to science and technology now, at 50, you don't have to look your worst. You can look younger and if you don't want to look younger, you can still look like a gorgeous old lady. I don't care much for wrinkles and got Tca done mainly for the skin damage.I liked what TCA did for me. First , my skin was cleansed thoroughly. After that, the doctor scrubbed it, removed all traces of skin oils. Then the acid was applied all over my face.It stung and burnt during the application. It was acidic, so it had to burn. There were not many changes right after the peel, but my skin was just burnt. Its like what happens if you sit all day in the sun or in a tanning booth. My skin went red too and it looked like i got a severe tan. The nurse kept fanning my face all the time. The acids were then removed and i went home. In the next few days, i noticed the skin tightening and the skin peeled. I was told not to tug and the peeling skin and not to stretch my face muscles. The skin peeled on its own, and after that i saw a pinkish skin underneath. It resumed its natural color a few weeks after.

The fresh skin was free of sunburn and my pigmentation peeld off with the old skin. Tca is mild and great. It was good for me. I like the freshness of the new skin that has emerged.
