Swelling slowly going down

I'm 9 days post op and the swelling is slowly going down. I'm out of my surgical bra and into my new sports bras! I can see why other girls switch to sports bras all the time after surgery they are so comfy plus provide a bit of support in the early days when you need it. I'm back to work tomorrow which should be interesting my main concern is actually staying awake all day haha im used to naps mid afternoon.
Still havent dropped and fluffed yet but it's still early days. I caught a little cold since coming off the anti inflammatory meds and wow sneezing hurts but I'm just taking extra vit c and keeping an eye out for fever or infection as there's not much more to do than that.
Anyways good luck to anyone else with their journey!

Healing underway

Hi guys not much to update on I'm still swollen though moving around today has been a bit easier. I'm taking antibiotics, anti inflammatory and painkillers each day though I'm down to one codeine tablet 3 times a day. I'm icing several times a day just to help ease the swelling and the tight feeling.
I will say with all the meds if you haven't done so already get yourself some prunes or prune juice. I had my first BM since Friday today and even then I'm still bloated. And I'm not even taking oxy's or anti nausea meds! My nurse said the more meds your on the higher the chances of constipation so get your prune on!
About the Breast academy surgeon Theo he's great! I got a call yesterday while I was napping so I just msgd back and it was Theo just checking in...on a Sunday evening! He told me everything went well in theatre which if your as nervous as me about anaesthetic it's good to know something about what happened while I was under!
I also got a call from the nurses at the hospital today checking in, making sure I'm doing my pec stretches and checking if I knew what to do about constipation so lovely and informative!
Anyway that's about it I'll take more pics when the swelling goes down a bit more my twins have looked the same since Friday but they do feel the tiniest bit softer today.

Good luck to anyone else with surgery coming up! Ask me any questions I'm happy to try help answer them.

Day 2

So today I've had my twins 2 days and god are they swollen! I had a msg from my surgeon and he said all seems normal which is good. I had my first shower today too my fiance had to wash my hair but it felt good.
I don't have much pain either just when I have to move from the couch and when I do my stretches.
I'll post another update soon.

Theo is a great surgeon and perfectionist with great eye for detail. He's got a great sense of humor and is therefore able to explain everything and point out information in a way that's easy to understand. He's great with his follow ups and always available for a chat. I works highly recommend him! The breast academy is fantastic and the nurse Hayley is very knowledgeable and not only tells you the information you need but also draws from her own experiences to give a personal touch to your time in their office. Margie is also great for information and helpful in getting you organised. I rooted recommend Theo and the Academy highly!
