I have had a lifetime of hooded eyelids which really started to plump up and droop in the last five years. I knew this procedure was possibility, but was nervous. Over the past several years I've gone to Dr. Casas for Dysport injections. We discussed the possibility of of eyelid surgery, but I consistently shied away. My 46th birthday is coming down the Ike, and I was tired of always looking tired. I decided enough already, and set a date. The procedure was done 5 days ago and I have no regrets.

Dr. Casas is a class act. I felt extremely comfortable having her perform this type of delicate surgery on me. Even though she has performed countless eyelid surgeries, she understood this was my one and only eyelid procedure and spent ample time explaining everything to me. She was extremely organized when preparing me during our pre-op appointments. She provided me with realistic strategies which would help enable me to have a speedy recovery. These strategies included dietary suggestions, a list of over the counter supplements, and a simple "to do" list to complete before the procedure (including checking out a few audio books from the library). I have followed her instructions to the letter. I have minimal bruising & swelling, and the five days since the procedure have been very comfortable. I would encourage anyone interested in this procedure to consider Dr. Casas.
