I had rhinoplasty and chin implant in October 2013...
I had rhinoplasty and chin implant in October 2013. I had several issues with my nose and my chin was too small especially on profile. My nose was very wide, had a bump, tip too big. The interior and structure of my nose wasn't so great either.
I had rhinoplasty with septoplasty and turbinate reduction. I had a chin implant that was placed by a small incision cut under my chin.
I had wanted this done for so long. I'm 22 but have wanted the surgery for at least 10 years. I had been trying to find a surgeon in California and just didn't feel right about any of them.
I came across Dr. Grigoryants online and really liked his results. I had a consult with him and I feel like I connected with him. He was easy to communicate with and somehow I just really trusted him even though I was so nervous.
Surgery was rough for me. I was in recovery for a long time. I remember vomiting quite violently everywhere yet I was still sort of on anesthesia. I don't remember seeing anyone or the room. Just the taste and helpless feeling of vomiting everywhere. Poor nurses!! I stayed the night in the hospital. All of my nurses were so caring and nice. They made me feel as comfortable as possible. Dr. Grigoryants came to see me the next day as soon as he could.
My chin hurt way way worse than my nose. The nose was uncomfortable for awhile. I felt I have had so much more ...drainage(?) than others. I had my cast taken off 6 days later and it didnt hurt at all. My side profile looked so cute! No bump!
It's been about 5 months now and my nose is still changing gradually. It's so much better than before. My breathing has also really improved from before surgery.
I might post pictures. I know they are really helpful. I'll think about it.
Dr. Grigoryants did not disappoint at all. He did such amazing work on my nose and chin!! It looks so natural. I found him so nice also. He gave me a more delicate and pretty nose, but he never made me feel not-pretty before. Does that make sense? He's not at all judgmental. I also like that he didn't seem arrogant or above others like so many surgeons are.
I had such a good experience with him. I'm just hoping not to mess up my nose or chin because surgery is serious. My body does not agree with anesthesia and pain meds!! Not his fault though.
I've had patience but I'm really excited to see my 1 year+ results. I'm sure it can only look even better.
