I've been thinking about getting a tummy tuck for a few years and never knew it would be a possibility. My husband is very supportive and knows I'm a little bit chicken. He put a date in my head to call to schedule the appointment since I kept putting it off. The crazy thing is the day I called they had a cancellation which they said never happens. I went in for my consultation and left with my surgery scheduled and my 10% down. I felt like I was in a dream for the rest of the day!

MADE IT TO THE FLAT SIDE!!! I can't believe it! Today went so amazing. I was so strong. Almost cried when they wheeled me in to OR. Everyone was so nice and calming. My PS called me about an hour after I got home to check on me. He said they took 9 lbs of lipo and 6 lbs of skin and fat from the tt. My whole mid section is stiff and sore and numb. But it was so worth it! I can't wait to see results!

If I can highly recommend anything it is to get the toilet seat riser! It has been my saving grace! I am 5'7" so if your shorter it may not make a difference. . I am po day 2 and doing pretty good. Sleeping , drinking and peeing. I am drainless thank The Lord! On top if all of this I don't know how you ladies are doing it with the drains. I have not been brave enough to take off my binder to take a photo yet. I will post one of me lying down.

Po day 5. Today has been the best so far! I finally had a bm which made a huge difference in my comfort level. Then I took a standing shower all by myself! I put some palmers lotion on my belly and back which felt nice. I put a bra on for the first time since surgery and got myself dressed! Then I walked up to a friends house 9 doors away to get done fresh air and we watched a movie and had lunch! Getting out of my room lifted my spirits! And on top if it a gf made my family dinner! I did notice something the other day which I think is pretty funny...I have a perfect round bruise on my breast! My husband said it must be a bed sore which I think is hilarious. Because I think they accidentally let the lipo suction thingy grab my boob! I mean I know they are big but I thought we should have discussed lipo of the boobs first! I can not wait to ask my PS about this at my po app on Thursday! Gonna give him so much shit. ;)
Po day 6. I have thrush on my tongue! Yuck! ...
Po day 6. I have thrush on my tongue! Yuck! Heading to pharmacy now. Ps called in something last night. Took a full shower washed hair and even tried on some shirts! Too swollen to try on pants yet.
Post op day 18
Everyday gets better and better. This weekend I actually went out on our boat with a bunch of friends! Of course I was dying to be in a bathing suit but since I need to wear the cg and can't go into lake water yet. I just wore a tank top and skirt. I am finally down 13 lbs from my pre op weight even though my ps took off 15 lbs. I still have swelling. I have tried on shorts and capris that are one size smaller than my pre op size. Which is exciting. But I don't feel like I will be as comfortable in them yet. I'm still sleeping on my soft pillow bed and my back last night I propped myself a little to one side and was comfortable. My husband is killing me he is doing everything in his power to beg me for sex but I am just not ready yet. So happy to have made it this far! It seems like it will take forever when you are laying around barely moving the first couple of days but healing takes time. And I still feel like I have a ton to look forward too!
