Patience
I am 10 weeks po. Patience patience patience. I still have swelling which looks weird. With underwear on looks great. I don't swell like I did weeks 4 - 7 but seem to have a constant hardness at incision line and mostly right in the center of incision line below belly button. Also very tender to the touch above belly button. I guess the MR is starting to heal. Still have large areas of torso that have no feeling. Don't see ps until January 5th so I will try to keep the faith. He must know more changes are coming. With all the crying I just did I am still so glad I did the sx. My ugly huge tummy is gone. I look very nice in clothes and can easily bend over to tie my shoes. Keep the faith ladies and keep healing.
common cold
Week 7 posted arrived with the gift of a head cold. Cant breathe, sleep, think. Coughing has really worked my ab muscles. Sometimes it pulls and stings and sometimes just a little pressure. I guess the blessing is the cold did not arrive sooner. Doctor released me at 6 week to full activity so I am not worried the coughing will hurt anything.
Free 2 work out
Had my 6 week post op. Doctor released me to all activities. Run, weights, abs, yoga, sex. Husband very happy about last item. I don't see a lot of change between week 5 and 6 physically. Still swollen with hard incision line but mentally feel 100% like my old self. On ward and up ward. Happy healing everyone
