“Gambling with Thermage... No Thanks!”

I was stupid... naive and stupid. I wasn’t willing to believe the bad rap Thermage gets on the message boards so when my doctor recommended it to me after chin lipo, I had my whole face done.

The first couple days I looked great! My skin was wrinkle free and tight. It even got rid of my frown lines and tightened up my crow’s feet, which wasn’t even part of the plan. But that was the best it ever got.

Honestly, after a couple of days there was no difference. I thought it was a nice little result at first, but then my doc told me the first changes I saw were from the swelling because Thermage always takes a few months to kick in. Imagine yourself, like, post-nose job and thinking that’s the best you’ll ever look! It’s crazy, right?! And you paid thousands for it to boot.

But I waited the four months like I was told to do... and waited... and waited. I’m still waiting.

I wouldn’t even call my overall satisfaction a 1. Maybe a -2,000 for every dollar I lost. But since then I’ve read even more message board stories about Thermage, not just about the lack of results but the damage it can do… horrible pictures of people with sunken and droopy faces. Ugh! No thanks!

I wasted my money and a lot of time but now I think I was one of the lucky ones because I didn’t suffer permanent damage. Well, just damage to my wallet but that can be replaced.
