Dr. Vennemeyer did an exceptional job on my tummy...
Dr. Vennemeyer did an exceptional job on my tummy tuck and liposuction of my hips. I highly recommend Dr. Vennemeyer to anyone considering plastic surgery. It has been twelve weeks since my surgery and my tummy looks fabulous! I am looking forward to being able to wear spring and summer clothes with confidence since I won’t be trying to hide fat rolls around my waist. I am still amazed every time I look in the mirror at how great my tummy looks including my flat, tight abdomen and natural looking belly button. Trying on clothes is now fun instead of frustrating. I am so happy that I made the decision to get a tummy tuck and that I found such a great surgeon. I really enjoyed talking to all of the office staff on my visits and phone calls. Everyone in the office is very friendly, professional, responsive, and all have positive attitudes.
After losing 80 lbs and having two children by c-section I had an excessive amount of loose skin around my abdomen that rolled over my waist line and lots of stretch marks. It was difficult to see my belly button because it was hidden by the excess skin. When I wore pants that fit around my waist I always had so much skin & fat over the top of my pants that I was always worried that I looked like I was pregnant. I debated with myself for a long time about even getting a consultation for a tummy tuck. I was concerned about standing in front of a plastic surgeon and being judged on my appearance. I always thought of plastic surgery as something for really rich people that want to look perfect. I quickly realized after a few consultations with different surgeons that I couldn't have been more wrong. From the people I saw in waiting rooms to the before and after pictures that I saw from each doctor it was clear that plastic surgery was much more mainstream and accessible than I ever thought. I began my search for the best plastic surgeon. The number one thing I was looking for was a surgeon that would give the absolute best results. I was willing to give up bed side manner for an awesome result. Luckily I was able to find a surgeon that had both the surgical skills and a fantastic bed side manner. I read hundreds of reviews, had extensive consultations with 5 different plastic surgeons in Cincinnati before I found Dr. Vennemeyer. I knew I found the right surgeon after my consultation with him and that was reinforced by his portfolio of before and after pictures, patient reviews, and the enthusiastic personal recommendations that I got from two of his patients that recently had tummy tucks.
Dr. Vennemeyer was very thorough in answering all of my questions before surgery. It seemed important to him that I was fully informed about the whole surgery and that I was comfortable and satisfied with everything that was going to happen. The 4.5 hour surgery was a complete success with no complications. After the surgery I called to office several times with questions about how to care for my healing abdomen. There was always someone available to answer my call during business hours and I was able to get answers quickly. I called twice outside of business hours and Dr. Vennemeyer called me back immediately. I am so thankful to Dr. Vennemeyer for being available outside of business hours. I believe Dr. Vennemeyer really cares that his patients have a good experience all the way through the healing process. It made a big difference to me having Dr. Vennemeyer care enough to call me on a Friday evening so that I didn’t worry unnecessarily all weekend.
