My Permanent Eyebrows Won't Stay, They Fade After 3 Weeks - Fresno, CA

I have had my eyebrows done 3 times in 6 months. I can't get them to stay. I had them done a few years ago and the same thing happened. I thought it was the person I was going to. So I changed salons and the same thing happened. Each place I went to says they have never seen such a thing happen ever before. So I am wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else. I love the way they look, I just want them to last. I recommend it for all the other people with whom the procedure lasts for more than a month.

Hi Fresno,

Welcome to the permanent makeup community. Hmm, three times and they still are not staying on, I've never heard of that. Have you gone to a dermatologist and asked what's up? Please keep us updated.

Thanks so much for the review,

I had upper and lower lids lined, lips and eyebrows. Lips did not work period! She told me it had to do with my pigment. Eyes took a long time to get it as dark as I wanted but 3 years later the eye line is completely gone. Eyebrows were done 2 years ago and yes, they are fading.
I paid in total $2,000.
Sounds like the PMU Artist has not gotten into your dermis and instead is just implanting the pigments into the epidermis, where it will not last. Needle depth is vital to PMU lasting.
This has recently happened to me as well, the second time I went back she put darker ink on and for sure I thought it would last , a few weeks later and I'm pencilling my eyebrows again, so disappointed:( she said maybe cus I bleed a lot when she was tattooing but I'd like to know there is a solution out there for girls like us
I was told that all permanent makeup isn't really permanent , as for example normal tattoo's. I have an auto immune condition so I've lost nearly all my eyebrows. I bleed a bit too. Mine generally last only 6 months and then I need to fill in with pencil, so annoying. Forget micro blading that lasts if I am lucky a month! Also the emla cream doesn't numb me so it is really and ordeal :( be interesting to see why we are like this.
