I want to tell you that Fraxel does hurt..get a friend to drive you and take a pain pill or anti anxiety pill that your dr gives you.. It was worth it.. I think if you have severe acne you need to have them filled with a filler after your treatments.. it can reduce the scars but the pits need to be filled and you will look great. No pain no gain..it is expensive and the machine is expensive for the drs to own...I am a huge believer in Fraxel and Fraxel repair.

I am sorry you ladies have had such problems. I have been involved with the Fraxel Laser since the very beginning, and have never had such problems. There are many specialists that are aavailable to your physicians that can help review your treatment protocol, your response and make some recommemndations. It is important to have a vast understanding of how laser physics inter react with skin and skin cells. I always recommend that laers be used in well trained physicians hands. This is a medical procedure and should be treated as such, using consultation reviewing patient expectaions and discussing variable options,appropriate patient education, and informed consent. Fraxel technology is well researched and is proven within the research. Again sorry you have experienced problems with your treatments.

I agree with Dr. Williams, thanks and if there would be a aesthetician doing this procedure they should be reported. Sometimes, people claim to have Fraxel when it is IPL or something else. I would also have the Dr. Perform it and do your homework.
