“Fraxel Not Worth the Money for Removing Age Spots”

My dermatologist recommended Fraxel to remove my age spots (melasma) when hydroquinone did not work. Fraxel gave me a very modest improvement, not worth the money and certainly no better than dermabrasion. I had five treatments and there was very little discomfort.
I think Fraxel might work for some skin issues but it was not helpful to me.

Overall I like my dermatologist but in this case she was too optimistic about the process and its anticipated results.
