“Fraxel - Loving It!”

I had Fraxel done 5 days ago and I'm very pleased.  I've read quite a few of the reviews on this website and I'm surprised that more people haven't had as positive an experience as I have, so far.  My doctor was awesome.  She was very honest about 3 different treatment options, detailing the pros and cons of each and didn't try to sway me one way or another.  I decided on Fraxel and am so glad that I did.  For about 8 years I've had dark freckles and, sun damage and hypopigmentation from old acne (no pit type scarring though).  My problem areas are my cheeks.  I've been so self conscious... not wanting to have my picture taken.  I've missed so many great memories with my kids because of my self consciousness about this.  I wish I could have done this years ago. 

I've spent much more than the cost of the treatment just on make up over the past few years trying to cover up my imperfections!  I only had my cheeks done. I used to use a concealer stick, foundation and powder.  This morning I applied sunscreen, moisturizer and powder only!! I may do my whole face in a couple months just to even things out.  My doctor didn't try to sell me multiple treatments.  She simply said "if you like the results and want to do it again, call me and we'll schedule another appointment".  I believe that she must have given me a great treatment because after just one, I'm seeing awesome results.  I'm hoping that someday really soon, I'll have good enough results that I'll be proud to leave the house with just lip gloss and mascara!
