I had Fraxel on my neck for some slight sagging skin. 4 days after the treatment I had a terrible rash; which could have been attributed to my normal cleanser/moisturizer being too harsh after the process. I tried several things, first an over the counter triple antibiotic which didn't work; my doctor then prescribed oral antibiotics and using a glycerin bar type cleanser (Neutrogena bar) and an over the counter hydrocortisone cream. After two weeks of this the rash had only started to clear slightly. I had read on this site that another person had experienced a rash also and had tried a corticosteroid cream. I asked my doctor about it and they prescribed one for me. The rash was gone within a few days. The only thing that remained was a slight bit of hyperpigmentation, which was cleared up through one session of laser light therapy to clear the redness. My skin is very fair/sensitive. Even though it was a long process due to the rash, the results now are good, my neck is tighter.
