So far have had 2 fraxel laser treatments, each about 3 weeks apart. I am not yet convinced it has done that much in treating the nasal lines, and the ''crepey'' skin. The first treatment was done very lightly, and after a week, and fully recovered and you could barely see any changes in the lines, or skin texture. The second treatment was done with greater emphasis on the lines and ''crepey'' skin. Two weeks have passed and once again I am not seeing a difference. In fact, I do feel that my cheeks have gained a sunken appearance. Am I going to do a third treatment ? Not unless the Dr. can convince me that these lines will disappear forever ! Its a moderately painful experience, and, depending on your body healing factor, it can take up to a week, or longer to recover. My skin is still extremely dry and feels in certain areas like sandpaper. I would suggest you really do your research, and ask as many questions from your Dr. I have had friends only do one treatment and have looked great, again it depends on the severity of the lines/damage, be prepared to have a second or third treatment. As said, I am not yet convinced, and will take a month break, and see how the skin/lines look before I decide.
