I had some freckling I wanted to get rid of. That was it! Other than that nothing was wrong with my face. My dermatologist recommended this procedure even though I had no acne scarring or wrinkles. I was in my late 20s. Well after my 2nd treatment I noticed no results with the freckling. After I went in for the 3rd treatment, I got another nurse doing the procedure. I explained to her that I was seeing no results. She asked me why I was doing this?? I told her because that is what the doctor recommended. She shook her head and then told me to try the ipl for the freckles. After one treatment I noticed a big difference. Plus I am pissed off because I have a hypopigmented area on my left cheek that wasnt there prior to the fraxel!! THe nurse denies that its from the fraxel but where else can it be from then??!! The dermatologist was obviously out to get more money from me rather than treat my freckles with the most suitable laser treatment. I was too trusting. But how can that be my fault??!! He is the doctor. Be warned people!
