Great! But, Obagi Works Better for Melasma - Chevy Chase

I personally have severe melasma from living in the caribbean and tried bleaching creams, but never really stuck to skin regimen. I tried Fraxel and did 4 treatments, at $750 per treatment. It was painful, but the pain was quick and I got great results on my melasma. However, the freckles came back. I have recently been using the Obagi program for over a year, and I can proudly say my skin is now FLAWLESS! Fraxel is great, but Obagi (and limited sun exposure, with high SPF) is a miracle worker.

The Obagi Nu-Derm system is my favorite, with the addition of the Obagi vitamin C serum (20%) and periodic chemical peels from a dermatologist.

Thanks for sharing. When you say Obagi, is there a specific line you've tried and recommend?

Dr. Drew Varano

Dr. V is very experienced with Fraxel and did a great job preparing me for what to expect and how to maintain my results.
