Reviews you can trust, from real people like you.
How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

I have done my first fraxel session and I am very...

I have done my first fraxel session and I am very pleased. I decided to write a review about fraxel because I see lot of negative reviews here.

Do you know that there are 3 (4 actually) different types of fraxel?

1) Re:fine
2a) Re:store
2b) Re:store dual
3) Re:pair.

Each machine has different use for different treatment. It is very rare (or even impossible) one doctor to have all 3 (or 4) machines.

If you are 45 years old and you need a deep peeling treatment you need 3#re:pair. If doctor owns 2#re:store you will see no good results. Then, you are not satisfied with you results.

If you are 30yrs and you need just to correct your acne you need 2#re:store. If doctor owns the 3#re:pair machine he will kill your youth skin. So, not satisfied.

Question: did you used the correct fraxel type for your problem?

My Suggestions:

1) Read on the official fraxel site about the different types. Make sure you find the type corrects YOUR problem.

2) Make sure you find a doctor with the correct type of fraxel for your problem. Don't let him cheat you.

3) Make sure he has the REAL fraxel machine not just any fractional laser (fraxel-like). ASK to see the machine before you book a session. You can see photos of the fraxel ont he official site. Google it.

I am 30yrs and I need to correct some scars and smooth my skiin. I used 2#re:store dual and of course my doctor put lot of cream (local anesthesia) one hour before the session.

Good luck!
