“Fraxel Laser Amazing So Far”

I'm 22, and have had severe acne scars on my cheeks since I was 18. I have tried everything most dermatologists and estheticians had to offer (except the SERIOUS chemical peels), nothing seemed to really work... until the Fraxel laser. I went to my dermatologist one day and it just happened to be the day they received their in-office Fraxel laser. I swear it was fate, so I decided to give it a shot as their very first patient to try it. I was desperate to improve my skin. I have had 2 procedures done, 4 months apart from each other.

I feel that my scars have improved about 30% so far. I will be doing 3 more procedures in the next year or so. If your dermatologist thinks you would be good candidate, then I suggest trying it. It's an amazing alternative to the major chemical peels that have two weeks down time. Immediately following the procedure my face was red and puffy for a few hours. The pain isn't too bad at all thanks to the numbing cream. By the next day I was fine, I even went out on a date... confidently! Everyone reacts different, so if it's your first Fraxel procedure and you're worried about the way your skin will react, have the procedure on a Friday so you have time to recover if you need to. I can't wait until my next appointment.
