Day 32

On day 32 I am Still deep red my face has been sensitive to nearly every medical cream which I have applied. I was so worried about my eyes I went to a burns & scar specialist on Harley Street who has told me to rest up & stay indoors for the next eight weeks & prescribed silicone gel for my eyes to try & flaten out the eye scars. He has been in contact most days supporting me as I have been so anxious & distressed. Sunblocks & make-up are making my face swell. I am not itching so much & in the last 24 hours my eyes & cheeks have calmed down less sensitive & cooler to touch. I am still shocked by my face & have spent the last week constantly regretting this procedure. They say you can return to work after 2 weeks with Sunblock & make up but in my case that is impossible. The red face is supposed to last 60/90 days or longer in some cases. I am hoping for a full recovery from this red face but I am so frightened the deep red will not fade. This is a savage procedure & I would never have had it done if I had realised how it would put my life on hold. No work, school runs with my son, no shopping I have to protect my face from any sun the Burns specialist said to see if I can recover from this deep peel. Feeling frightened & full of regret.

I am 50 years old & wanted to get rid of my frown...

I am 50 years old & wanted to get rid of my frown lines both horizontal & the long creases between my brow, lip lines as well. I chose to have a deep phenol done but I am so regretting it day 17 now & I look like a deep red tomato. I have deep red raw marks under my eyes where the mask stuck in the delicate eye area & tore the skin. I have white spots under & on top of my skin also raised lumpy rash areas. My pores on my nose & cheeks look so so deep. I know this is a long process for the red skin to clear 60 /90 days but my marked skin looks terrible. Make up just slides off it sticks In the huge pores on my nose that I never had before looking all patchy & dry. I was lined for a average 50 year old but attractive with clear skin but not now. I know they say the collagen is regenerating but the deep holes & pitted skin are heart breaking
