updates!

Still very sore and feeling so fatigue, I hate this part of the recovery process, but slowly getting better. I'm still wearing my medical bra even though it's hideous bc I don't want to take the chances of messing anything up, esp after all the money we paid and everything we've been through with the process (including the pain!) Uploading pix of recovery!

7 days post op

Today is 7 days post op. Still feeling very sore and a bit of pain in the left boob but not top bad. Last week, (3days post op) i ran out of pain meds and i was in so mich pain that Dr Beck had to write me another prescription, and my husband picked it up and had it filled. I have been slowly stopping pain meds and valium (but I finished my anti biotics). I actually feel more refreshed today than all the other days. And I actually got a full nights sleep last night as compared to the n other nights when I would wake every 2 hours (even with taking valium!). Today I will probably go to buy a sports bra of some sort so I can wear it out instead of this hideous bra they gave me. My breasts are starting to drop a bit and becoming more round (what a relief!) But the side is still wider than my body (which I don't like) but hopefully that will go down too.

1 day post op

Last night was probably the most painful bc I was getting used to having the boobs. I felt alot of pressure and soreness, the pain meds helped a great deal. I stayed home in bed propped up with tons of pillows and a sweet husband that made sure I was comfy and woke me up to take all my meds. It was difficult getting in and out of bed, so I would have to help me get out of bed. I feel like my left side hurts a bit more and the boonies look high and tight, but I think once it drops, it will look fab. I'm having a little boob greed though and kinda wish I went with the bigger size, but my husband told me it was better to pick the smaller size so I can still dress them up with a push up bra if needed. I would hate to wake up and feel like I went too big. Again, I did the 295cc shaped implant under the muscle. It is SO important to stay on top of your meds because it really helps, and not to mention icing it too. I have my follow up appointment later today, so I'll update more later. I did attach my vectra diagram. For some reason I feel like my boonies aren't as big as the vectra... but that's most likely bc I'm still swollen. Btw, the review I wrote yesterday probably made no sense because I was still so loopy!
