I decided to get a reduction because of back and shoulder issues. The prep for surgery was short, and the surgery was about 2 hrs. Unfortunately I got a blood clot in my lungs after the surgery, so I had to stay in the hospital for 4 days. My healing is really slow, but they say I am bleeding more because of the blood thinner medicince for the blood clot. My boobs look great though.

Hey everybody. Just wanted to stop by and say that I love my new boobies. They have healed up pretty darn well. I have a little bit to go, but I was actually a size 44f and now a 38/40 D depending on the bra brand. I've had a few set backs, but i'm good. To be able to go without a bra is lovely and no more back pain. I have 3 more months before my catscan to see if I still have my blood clot. Wish me luck. Tired of taking blood thinners.

I am sorry you ended up with the blood clot..Yikes how scary.   I hope you are feeling better now and and on the mend.  How long ago did you go through this?

You must feel much lighter now.  Did they mention how much they took off?

I had surgery on December 13th. The bloodclot was caused by me taking birth control. So now I'm on meds for 3-6 months. I do feel lighter, no more back pains.

I take blood thinners for an irregular heartbeat. Went off a few days before surgery and had to go back on the med day after surgery. I know exactly what you are going through. I'm almost 3 weeks post op and healing very glowly too. Very bruised still and slow wound healing especially my right breast. Just taking it one day at a time. I certainly love the size and shape of my new boobs.

It's my left breast that's giving me problems. I'm bleeding out more than the other one. I'm starting to get frustrated about that.

Thanks for the update! Glad you are doing well now. How much weight did your surgeon take off?
