If you've read hundreds of these stories (like i have) then you know most start out the same. So I will put in my facts first.
*I'm 39 yrs old 5'8" 185lbs
*had boobs since 4th grade
*had size 28D's by 10th grade
*gained weight with my 2 pregnancies
*nursed two babies
*have been size 34G since having kids
*chronic upper back and neck pain for 19 yrs.
*had ACDF to fix rupture disc in my neck last yr.
*seen chiropractors, physical therapist, massage therapist, weight loss clinics, family Dr, and spine surgeon. Guess what, nothing is wrong with my spine! What? Then why am I in constant pain?

I come from a family of very chesty women. When my aunt had a BR 2 yrs ago I started thinking this might be my back and neck problem. I started with weight loss first. I weighed 205lbs in jan 2012. After I recovered from my neck surgery I started walking and eating better. I lost 20 lbs but not even a centimeter from the "girls".

I'm a hairstylist which is hard on the body anyway. I love love love my job. I start my day with 4 Advil, then a few hrs later I need my tramadol, by the middle of the day I want to quit my job, win the lottery, file for disability, (which I'd never get) because nothing is wrong with my back, so I take more meds just to finish my work day. Then a muscle relaxer so my muscle will stop pulsing so i can sleep. I still love my job and my clients but I can't live with this most ridiculous, stabbing, aching, throbbing, burning pain anymore. Did I mention I hate pills.

My concern is will this really help with the back and neck pain? Is there any hairstylist that has had this surgery? I'm defiantly getting the surgery I just want some feedback on how much does this help. I've read many of the blogs. I know women says this helps I'm just tired of being in pain All the time:)

Just about one week to go! And today was a terrible pain day. I kept telling myself just 7 more days and I will be on the other side with a different kinds pain but one that goes away.

Only 6 days now! Wow just a month ago I was thinking I've got a month to get things squared away. Time is moving faster. I found a story from someone on here and she took pics with a tape measure to show all the differences. I think I'm gonna do that today and post them. I wish I could remember who it was though. Good luck ladies. We are all in this together,

5 days and counting and to keep myself busy. I've washed every stitch of laundry, dusted, vacuumed, washed windows, groomed and bathed my mini schnauzer, cleaned kitchen, and lastly paid bills :(. I've been getting so many headaches lately. I hope this BR takes that away too.

Ok I'm 5 days postop. I had so much energy yesterday and today I have next to none. I did get a shower and wash my hair. Now I could take a nap. But I just gonna lay back and watch tv. I've been going 8-12hrs between pain meds. Only Advil inbetween. The pain has been minimal but I have a high pain tolerance. I am having headaches though. All in all this has been well worth it. Thanks to everyone for your prayers.

I'm one wk postop and I'm take only 1 pain pill at night before bed. I take Tylenol during the day. Still get really sleepy about mid day. Pain is very minimal. Will post pics the. I will only post them wkly to see the differences. I did mesure today and I'm about a 36D yay-me!!

I'm at 3 days post op. and I get to shower today. Yay! I was taking norco every 4 hrs. Now I take Norco every 8 hrs and Tylenol in between if needed. So far this is my best day. I've read hundreds of stories on here and learned that day 3 the pain gets better with most ladies. Thank you all for sharing. I will post pic after my shower.

Careful on the advil..chk with the doc. Normally you have to wait two weeks because it is a blood thinner...i could only take the vicodin or extra strength tylenol (which is really like a tic tac for me!) for the first two weeks.

Same here, haven't reached 2 weeks quite yet, so no ibuprofen yet.....th exes strength Tylenol holds me pretty well thru the day, but by about 8p I am ready for a Vicodin!

I went backlast week for just 3 hrs a day just for 3 days. This wk its more full time but I've blocked out 2 hrs a day to rest if I need it. I work for myself. So if I don't work I don't get paid. So back to work I go. Back and neck pain that I used to have are all gone. I just have a tinny little back pain but its different. I think it's from the old way I would stand. My posture was poor. So know I try to stand straight and I get stiffness. But if this is it then its nothing to all the crazy pain I used to have.

Girly, you look great! Thanks for the review. Do you think the pre-op headaches were from stress? I'm really prone to headaches myself. I take Topamax daily for migraines and that's the one thing I'm afraid of: stress ramping the migraines up during the time around surgery. eek! Anyway, thanks again for the kind words on my blog and for all the insight you gave us in yours!! Cheers and happy recovery! :)

Your before and after side by side, wow what a lift! Glad your surgery went well and I will be getting my 34G's down to a D on Monday. How much did your surgeon remove? Congrats on the new you!

But keep in mind only implants are more true to size. All boobs are different some are more dense than others. So it's not really about the amount they take its more about what they leave. My PS asked if I wanted to error on the side of too big or too little. I said too big. Then I whispered make them a perky D. He just smiled.

Notsoboob...thank you so much. I will prolly be 34d. I haven't had the drop and fluff yet:-) Me950...thank you and yes I'm staying awake more than sleeping each day! Frergie2549...yes I have total nipple sensation. Thank you all so much. I will say I was shocked at first at how small i thought they were but I'm totally thrilled. They aren't small just smaller than I was used to for the last 20yrs:-)

Wow you look great. I'm a 36G, so when I saw your pics, I thought you looked exactly like me! lol I go for my first consult a week from today with a PS, and I'm so excited. So hoping that I get approved by OHIP (I'm in Canada). I got referred to a PS from another woman on here, and I'm so grateful! Hope your recovery is quick. Do you have sensation in your nipples yet? That's what I'm a little worried about..................

What an incredible transformation. I'm waiting to hear back from my insurance provider to find out if my surgery will be covered. I'm hoping for results like yours. Can't wait to see how things progress for you! Keep us updated!
