So this morning i had my surgery. :D when i woke up i was really disoriented from the general anesthetic, but i could really notice a difference. My pain medication didn't really kick in till half the drive home, so i was really uncomfortable at first. but when it kicked in i felt so much better. I'm already pleased with my results :) If you go to Coastal Empire Plastic Surgery, i would recommend Dr. Luke Curtsinger. He did such a wonderful job, his nurses were all so friendly and amazing, addressed me by my first name, and walked me through everything they were gonna do so i understood what was going on while i was in surgery. wonderful staff.

Congratulations! You did it :-) Glad you are doing relatively well. I hope the pain has lessened for you. You will probably be pretty tender the next few days but after that I would expect you to really start noticing some improvement. Just make sure to give yourself time to rest, that makes such a huge difference.
thank you! i'm soooo happy i made this decision, and i'm glad i didn't let the few comments my friends made about my large breasts deterr me from getting this done. i feel literally like a whole new person. :) my clothes fit better, i feel more confident in myself when i meet new people, (always meeting new people, being an army wife) and i feel the difference when i carry myself. no more being weighed down by large boobs! yay!!
Glad to hear you are doing so well. Rest:)

Welcome to RealSelf. Oh my goodness your day is almost here. Are you all read and stocked up on your supplies?
We would love to hear more about your pre op size and what you are hoping to go down to.
Good luck! We will be thinking about you on your big day. Please let us know how you are doing.
thank you! i've been home resting a tons since the surgery this morning. I was a 34 I, went down to a 34 C. the swelling was getting worse with the surgical bra, so i had to put my zip-up sports bra on for a little more compression. now the pain has subsided, and i feel just discomfort. but i'd del with that for 6-10 weeks instead of chronic back pain.
