I had a endotine ribbon put in my neck as part of a full facelift. Was told it would dissolve in 6-8 months. Was never told I would feel strangled. Now 20 months later I still feel like I have a rope around my neck and am choking.
I wish I could turn back time. I regret ever having anything done.My life has changed 120%. My face is lifeless on left side,unable to smile ever again.One eye is larger than other and choking effect,I'm afraid is here to stay forever.Depressed beyond words.I worked in public all my life,now I don't want to leave the house.

I'm so sorry for all that you've been through but thank you for posting your experience nonetheless. This is still so helpful for others who are considering surgery. Do you plan to seek any revisional work to correct it?
