2 WEEK UPDATE

A lot has changed since my last update. I found out that the reason my left was so tight and very very swollen was because I had developed a hematoma in my left breast. I was home relaxing when I felt very wet, I look down and my gauze is soaked with blood so I instantly freak out. I called the PS, he wasn't in the office but they told me to come in and see his PA. To make a long story short, they had to drain out some of the blood via needle and syringe. So now my Left side has been draining continuously and has now softened up . It's still swollen underneath and on the sides. I am still glad I did this and to anyone who is contemplating getting this done go for it. I just keep telling myself that everyone's body is not the same, some heel without complications, while others have temporary complications, either way I'm apart of the itty bitty club now. lol

I WOKE UP LIKE THIS

Last night I slept in my bed without a problem which is surprising. I slept propped up with pillows on my right side, then would occasionally lie on my back. I am feeling some type of way this morning because as mentioned in earlier posts my lefty is still very swollen. I know it is still very early in this process but the what ifs has definitely taking over my thoughts. Lefty feels the same after surgery, while Righty has soften. She's a good girl lol. Now don't get me wrong I am glad that I had this done, but I also don't want uneven breast. I feel like this website is my family of sisters because we have all been through the emotions from the beginning to the end and trying to explain my emotions to someone who has not gone through this is not the same. I was thinking of buying some Bromelian tabs, I heard that helps with swelling. Has anyone taken these? Does it helps? I see PS tomorrow, so I will express my concerns. I know that breasts are not considered identical twins, but sisters and that Lefty was bigger before this process, but it was not noticeable. Now that I am smaller it is noticeable. Husband also says Lefty is swollen. He likes Lefty. Just to give you an idea, Lefty feels like a D cup, while Righty feels like a C cup. Anywho, Happy Healing to each and everyone of us.

1 WEEK POST OP

Nothing much has changed. My left is still very swollen and tight. My right is also swollen but has soften up a bit. So I'm going through the emotions with that. I know that it is still very early and swelling can last for months.

Dr. Low at Take Shape Plastic Surgery is very nice. I felt really comfortable with him. He answered all my questions and I did not feel rushed. I am really blessed that I was able to find a great Dr. Dr. Low and his staff are wonderful. Since my first consultation until the surgery Dr. Low has answered all question regarding pre and post op surgery. He even saw me the day after I had my surgery which was on a Saturday and gave my husband his cell number and said to call him if I have any questions. What more can a girl ask for. I recommend him to anyone considering a BR.
