“Forget the contour thread lift!”

Contour thread lift: NOT worth it

Cost: $1,500
Pain: Severe
Contour thread lift satisfaction: Poor1 Star Rating: Poor

In May I had the Contour Thread Lift for the brow.

Everyday since then I have had nothing but pain and problems...severe headaches everyday, infections at the entry sites, breakouts, itching, inflammation. The look was good while it lasted. Four months into it, there is little difference.

The procedure is billed as "totally reversible," however, when I wanted them OUT, my doctor said he couldn't do it with good results. So, I am stuck with these plastic barbs in my head for the rest of my life. I have nerve damage in my brow and head area. The nerve damage pain has been terrible. There is inflammation in the forehead in a different spot everyday. I am constantly aware that those threads are there. It is awful!!

This procedure is billed that it is non-invasive, easy, lunch time deal, with no pain. HA! There is more, but that is all the time I have today.

I am getting mine out. The dr did tell me that he had not taken them out of anyone's forehead yet BUT...I am tired of seeing pimples where the threads are poking out! Plus, on the other side I am seeing what looks like a road map under my skin. What a miserable experience this was!!! Sherri
