Yes, my belly is bruised and ugly right now, but it is noticeably smaller. I am hopeful.
There is a blue deflated bag,
where my belly used to be.
I wear a compression garment,
so it doesn't blow back up on me.
When I take it off to go,
I quickly put it back on.
That little blue bag threatens to re-inflate,
it is scary to go to the john.
If you ask "Do you wish u hadn't?"
I might just say...
I wish I still had my bag of green,
to save for a rainy day.
But three months from now,
you may check back.
And on the beach I'll be,
with my belly flat (or not),
for all the world to see.
