I was 298 pounds. My surgery was June 11th, 2009. It is called The Mini Gastric Bypass. I have lost about 140 pounds! I am now 159 pounds.

I would not change a thing. It was worth all the money & and the pain.

thanks, at first it is always hard, the first few months are the worst, as in terms of eating so little and find out how much you can eat and how your body will react to it, but your body will let you know when you are full, your stomach will sort of cramp up, somethings i can eat a lot of like soup or salad, then other things like steak or hamburgers i can only take a few bites, but its all worth it, now i eat normal just much less, thank god lol

That makes sense. Do you do any kind of exercise as well or it soley a change in diet for you?

I don't exercise at all, I do need a tummy tuck and an arm lift once I have the money for it, I do plan on working out evenutually to get my legs more in shape.
