I am three weeks out from Fraxel Repair...Question...

I am three weeks out from Fraxel Repair...Question - I have deep grooves underneath my eyes that were not there before! Will these improve with time with collagen fill or is this my end result? Only reason I had this done was for underneath my eyes and they look much worse. Procedure was done as a favor by a very good doc at a discount in another state so I cannot complain to him.

I would appeciate any encouragement!

What you see may or may not go away. Collagen is produced for six months, sometimes 9 months post laser. I do not know if you had ablative (removed layers of skin), if not then what you see in 3-6 months may be your final outcome. Fraxel and cosmetic devices are not what you are led to believe. Look at the reviews for Fraxel. Read the stories of Christine Hoene and AWalk. These are true stories of what can happen. Doctors won't admit any of this. Even here they dispute these bad things happen to some people, but that does not change the fact that it DOES happen. I hope things improve for you. Good luck.
