My face had been numbed with a cream but when the laser was beginning to be used, I thought I was in a torture chamber of Dr. M. It was extremely painful and I wouldn't consider going through this again without some kind of strong anesthetic. Cream doesn't do even half the job.
The doctors don't know what you feel and tell you that it is mildly discomforting. Mildly discomforting my foot. Liars.

I love my doctor but in the pain prevention during this laser treatment he was so wrong. I've read many sites just now and all of them just speak of "mild discomfort," so he must've believed this nonsense too. It is extremely painful, even with a numbing cream.
