This was the scariest episode in my life. After having Radiesse injected in my smile lines and the initial bruising and swelling went away, approximately 9 days after that I started to feel a tingling and swelling in my lower left chin and lip. Within a few hours my face and lips started to swell. By the next morning I looked like a monster and cried uncontrollably. I couldn't believe what I looked like. My entire face blew up to about 5 times its size. I went back to the clinic and they immediately put me on steroids and antihistimines. I'm almost back to normal now and will NEVER, EVER, DO THIS AGAIN. I will grow old gracefully.
