9 years ago I got my boobs done. I went from a B to a D, I'm now a DD. I was 23, and was talked into a slightly larger implant than I originally wanted. I had a hematoma, I've had capsular contr. and they are just plain too big. I have had recurring mastitis (no kids) in the one "problem" breast for 2 years and am now facing revision, smaller, with lift, or just removal and a lift. Talk about expensive investment.

Yes I have had a love/hate relationship with them but overall they are not worth the cost, body issues, back problems, gravity...and now health issues/infections. Save your money for a great bra and you'll still have great boobs at 40 instead of having to have them redone!

The nurse had more to say about what size I should go with than the surgeon, that's why mine are too big. Consults with later surgeons confirm most would not have put such a large size on my frame with the existing size I had naturally.

I'm sorry you have so many issues with your breasts! Hematomas and capsular contracture can happen even with skilled surgeons.

Have you made a consult appointment yet for a revision?

I'm so sorry for your bad experience and thank you for sharing the name of the doctor. As I was considering him, he's $6K cheaper than the doctor I've chosen and was really tempted...
