Update

At, ummm, tray 49 (18+18+13) I am at this stage. Plenty more trays left, probably almost as many as I have done I fear, because rotating the very stubborn upper left canine has proved a very slow process. I don't mind so very much as, as am used to this treatment routine now and using Accedent to cut the treatment time in half. The upper left canine is still on its way and therefore the upper second front tooth is also still pushed front and away from its final place. Other teeth are behaving well and almost at their rightful place already, I am happy with that.

Lesson on the day: severy rotated upper canine teeth can be treated with invisalign, but predicted treatment time may double and a skillfull orthodontist plus many mid-course corrections may be needed.

Mid course correction two

Here is my current status - progress has been made, but I needed a second mid-course correction and will need a third one in about 6 months from noe. My upper left canine tooth has been difficult to move due to its shape and rotation - the trays would need to be re-adjusted regularly according to how much it has moved and mid-course correction is the only way to do it. The original plan didn't involve creating enough space around the tooth - more space was needed for the plastic tray to get a better grip of the stubborn tooth. If i didn't have AcceleDent I'd be a grandma before I get finished! ;) Anyway, good news is that my original cost plan covers all these extra-adjustments and I have to pay no extra.

Slow going

Rotating an upper canine tooth with invisalign seems to be a very, very slow process. Sometimes it looks and feels as if nothing was happening at all, but when I compare with the older photos, the left canine has indeed come forward and turned just the slightest bit. It takes forever, though. I am changing trays every 10 days now with acceledent.
