Being in my forties and having had bad teeth for...

Being in my forties and having had bad teeth for all of my adult life, I was ready to make a change. I found RealSelf and decided to research several dentists (23 to be exact). I would just get on RealSelf and read through the profiles of the doctors on here, then view their websites and their before and after pictures to narrow down my results. After about 8 months of looking, I found Soft Touch Dentistry, near St. Louis, MO. I called them up, booked my appointment and the rest was history. I love my 8 veneer and I would do it all over again, if I needed to. I wish I had done this 15 years earlier.

My doctor was Dr. Sarah Thompson. She was very, very nice and I could tell that she knew what she was doing. At the first appointment, she gave me a check-up and had her assistants take xrays. Once she saw that my xrays were good and my teeth were fine, she prepared my teeth for the veneers. It took about 75 minutes for the entire process. I remember getting a few shots, but after the shots, I didn't really feel anything else, which I was glad about because I'm always afraid of the dentist. At the end of my appointment, I got what they called temporary veneers that I was supposed to wear for 2 weeks. My temporary veneers looked 100 hundred percent better than my original teeth looked. I would have been happy with the temporaries. So, two weeks and 3 days later, I went back to Soft Touch and got my permanent veneers cemented. This appointment took about 35 minutes. Once Dr. Thompson finished this appointment, I loved my teeth. I felt like I had definitely made the right choice. I plan to go back to get my bottom teeth done, but in the meantime, I am really enjoying my new smile. My whole experience at this office was the bomb.
