I have a high risk of breast cancer and positive for the BRCA 1 mutation. I decided to have prophylactic double mastectomy with Direct-to-Implant silicone implants. Dr Rad was my plastic surgeon for this procedure. He went over the various risks and options with me. I always felt like I was in good hands, not only with a talented surgeon but with a person who cares for his parents. My husband went with me to all of my appointments and also felt very confident in Dr Rad being my surgeon.

Dr Rad took the time each visit (before and after the surgery) to answer any questions that I had. I never felt rushed and always felt like he was very knowledgeable about my situation and how to best proceed. We did Direct to Implants which has higher risks involved. He helped me to make the best decision for me and my family, while understanding all risks involved. Surgery is never easy but I truly believe it was as "easy" a recovery as it could have been because of Dr Rad.
