Tummy Tuck: Stories

Waited more than 40 years for surgery, wasn't expecting to look like a 16 year old, but not expecting to look like I do now either. Got 3 different opinions, couldn't find anything bad on any of the doctors. Went with one that I liked. Last thing I told him before he put me down, do your best work and I'll do my part to keep it up.

Have had very little pain, some mild discomfort. Was told I would be hunched over for a little bit, never was. Asked about my sides when I went back for my check-up, and was told the sides would shrink up, they haven't... below the belly button looks great, I'm flat for the first time in my life... doesn't look like anything has changed above the belly button... I can pick up the skin and move it around and have an overhang over the TT scar.. I almost wish I hadn't had it done. Before I saw the large stomach and dealt with it, now all I do is cry. I can not understand why he didn't take it down better. He promises to make it right, after 6 months, so that I have to go thru another healing period. Guess I'll have to wait and see...

I will say that below looks awesome and if the rest of it looked like that, I would be the happiest girl in the world. This was a once in a life time surgery for me, there's no way I can afford to have it redone to get it right...

Not at all happy with my TT. Have since gotten 2 more opinions to find out, I'm going to have to have the whole thing redone. Really wish I hadn't done the surgery at all at this point. Totally and completely unhappy with procedure and now 1 year out. This isn't a cheap thing to have done and to find out I have to now come up with the money all over again, I'm heart broken and can't seem to be over to get over this depression that it has brought on
