I went through Gorgeous Getaways to Malaysia with Dr Nasir for facelift *brow, upper n lower eyes, jowl and neck lift*. Only problem is they want you to book into hopsital first, then Dr sees you just before surgery. I stood my ground and demanded a proper consultation first.. I recommand this to everyone.

Had 4 hours surgery, woke up with terrible pain in back of head. Had 2 very large lumps, 79 stapes and about 60 stitches.. Nurses worried, doctor finally came 12 hours later to check, said lumps seemed like bone!!! What kind of Dr says that! Had terrible experience, hopsital was still in process of being built and from 10am - 10pm jack hammering in concrete, so I had to book myself out of hospital on second night after op to go back to hotel for rest. WRONG..hotel had noisy people above and next door and every night 8.30pm - 4am noies so in 14 days had 4 das sleep.

Before leaving to come back to Australia saw doctor again about painful lumps on back of head and I TOLD HIM they were swollen lumph nodes, then he agreed! I have since got alopecia where they were swollen! Been back 5 weeks and eyes still VERY SWOLLEN and right eye is being dragged down so I cant shut my eye and lower right lid extremely sore on scar line and hurts to blink or move eye. Was it worth it? ill let you know in about 6 months.

I think next time ill stick to Australian doctor and australian surgeons even though they are 3 times more cost. Operation, threate, anestetic $5,500AUD, Airfare $860 + travel insurance, Hotel $1,880AUD, all up around $9,000AUD

Well its been 7 months and the results are...

Well its been 7 months and the results are terrible. My browlift is worse then before surgery. Its all lumpy, veins showing and horrible to look at. My right side of face has nerve damage and wont move much when I smile, and left side cheek is caved in so I have lob sided smile. One earlob has been pulled in more than the other and it appears hes reattached my right ear lower then the left. He pulled my brow lift uneven and my right eyebrow was lower than the other, so ive had to wax my eyebrows off and booked in for tattooing my eyebrows now. The bald spot at the back of my head has not had hair return He cut the back of my head lobsided, so the cut from left back of ear to back of head near neck is about 1 1/2 inches over to middle of head than the right side. I am so unhappy. Gorgeous Getaways have been horrible to me with the girl from Sydney. She has been rude and playing games refusing to answer my questions, saying WAIT.......WAIT....... WAIT... I finally wrote to CEO of GG through facebook who contacted the girl in Sydney. She had the nerve to tell me I was not allowed to talk to you guys or anyone else on the internet.. Who the hell do they think they are telling me who I can and cannot talk to? I call them HELL GETAWAYS and Dr Nasir is a butcher. They finally after my contacting the CEO sent me official forms for REVIEW to look at corrective surgery. Are they kidding? I wouldnt let that butcher near me again! I told GG to never contact me again. My Finace paid $1500 for Ostoplasty on his ears. There is NO difference. We supplied photos of before and after and after 7 months, GG never contacted him!! PLEASE, EVERYBODY, DO NOT GO THROUGH GORGEOUS GETAWAYS or the Malaysian Doctors! I cant speak for Thailand Drs or others overseas, but its NOT worth it. I look worse then when I started and I now have to look in the mirror at this nightmare for the rest of my life. I have had 6 cosmetic surgeries over 30 years and all have been wonderful with great results...except this time! STAY AWAY FROM GORGEOUS GETAWAYS-HELL GETAWAYS

I think we need to all get a class action going against Gorgeous Getaways, because they suggested these doctors to us, and if as it seems Dr Nasir uses students or infact had someone else operate on us, we all need to get a class action suit agaisnt them all. My face is lobsided. its now been over 12 months and each side of my face is different.. The right side is almost paralysed, so I have a crooked smile and its drooping already where the left side of my face looks like part of the muscle has been cut out. Its giving me a "gaunt" look with sunken in cheek and crooked smile. I have to look at this everyday and its very depressing... Anyone know a laywer who will take on a class action for us..these people Gorgeous Getways and Dr Nasir need to pay for our physical and psychological pain we all have to endure for the rest of our lives...

Shakey, I agree with you 100%. These people promise innocent people a confident and happy life.Maybe they're not aware of what goes on under the knife.Only the surgeon has all the answers. We are not "vain" people some of us have had terrible, traumatic pasts which have led us to age faster.Surgery is a ray of hope for us to start our lives anew looking and feeling brighter and refreshed. I was actually told by someone that he uses a student surgeon to "practice" on us.I don`t know if this is true ,it could just be a malicious rumor started by an ex employee. All I do know is that this whole experience has given me post traumatic stress disorder.I can`t go outside without wearing tape on my scars as that look hideous front and back.I believe in karma and a true believer in "what goes around comes around".

I had a similar experience with the sme mob and same doctor..they did nothing and he has scarred me for life on my face..he performed an eyebrow lift which no one does any more instead of the agreed forehead lift scarring me over both eyes..three yearss and they are still very deep, loss of feeling on my face and loss of hearing. Uneveness in the scarring took me to see two plastic sureons here who stated they believed two different surgeons operated on me while i while out of it..they suggested to get the cheap prices we are guiness pigs for stuent doctors..could not agree more..too ashamed to tell anyone and have been ignored by gorgeous getaways would tell anyone not to go with them..one woman there had a full body lift and it split opend and she was seerly traumatised..I am a nurse and looked after her as GG did not a thing. They hve ignored any requests for revision as promised in their ads..and I got out the least damaged of everyone else there with me!! you are not on your own

Mayhemdiva I also got disfigured by the same Doctor in 2010. I had a "Mini Facelift" with maximum scars. He has left me a recluse. Also the sides of my face are uneven like two people did the Op. I have tried to send you a message but the site won`t let me. Please send me a message

Dr Nasir and GG ...I would also like to say that i had Dr Nasir for a very simple surgery and one of wounds wont heal and the stitch is coming out nearly 2 years down the track, but more then that what upsets me is that GG has there own group on yahoo where you can read about people experiences, however if you have had a slightly non pleasant experience, GG yahoo group doesn't post the comments, so people who have never had any experience with plastic surgery through GG only read what THEY want you to read! My experience was very rushed i didn't have a proper consult. I THINK IN FUTURE I will go through surgeons in thailand who have not one bad story about them , like Dr Witoon, i am planning on seeing him in future, he has a very good reputation. IF YOU HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH ANY SURGEONS OVERSEAS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE POST IT ON THE NET SO INNOCENT WOMEN CAN LEARN THE TRUTH AND BE PROTECTED FROM BAD OR NEGLECTFUL SURGEONS and if you had an amazing surgeon PLEASE SHARE!

HI. I thought I would let you know that I am off to KL AGAIN in March. My ear lobes look that deformed that I have to do something about it. I am wearing HUGE button like earrings which I hate, to try and cover them up. So am having to pay to fly back over plus the accommodation and they are still charging me $850 to fix them. Apparently its MY fault they ended up like they did!!! Work that one out!!!! I am a bit apprehensive, Shakey, but I will let you know how it goes. I would never let them do anything major to me again. This is done under a local and I only have to stay 5 days. Will have some hot stone massages, pedicures etc this time and hopefully return to Oz slightly more relaxed than last time!!! Will update after I return,. Hope things are better for you, Shakey, you take care.

Hi Shakey, I hope everything has healed and you have ended up with the results that you wanted. Your pictures look like you have gone through a lot of pain. Has the wounds healed and the alopecia gone? I really hope that now it is September things have healed and are better for you

I had a rhinoplasty done last year by Dr Jalil who is the other main doctor Gorgeous Getaways recommends and it turned out horrendous. I'm from Australia and had a revision done in the USA a week ago and I am in love with what my plastic surgeon has done... the results were that dramatic even with the swelling present, I couldn't thank him enough....actually I'm in love with the results from every procedure that he has done for his clients too.

Stay positive and happy and I really hope your surgery is what you wanted.

I too had a MFL (mid-face-lift) with cheek implants. I really only wanted my neck fat and jowls gone. I'll be honest, it has not been quite 2 weeks but I hate it! It IS VERY PAINFUL when the novacaine and anasthesia wear off and the docs only give you a few pain pills, not near enough for a month, which is what I am now told it will take before they take my staples out and the swelling will completely go down. I had to go to the ER to get more pain meds! The Dr.'s ther were shocked. I am only 43 years old. DON'T DO THIS PROCEDURE, unless you are deformed. I'm unhappy with the results and have been in constant agony ever since surgery. I had to drop out of grad school temporarily because I was in too much pain to get the work done. I have vomited, I've been nauseauted, I have a headache ALL of the time. I used to model. I was a beautiful woman before, now I look like a clown! I'm not exaggerating one bit. Don't buy into this misleading advertising. By the way, I went to the "top professional" for faces in California, if not the U.S. He has pictures of models in his office which he has supposedly worked on......

HI. Thought Id check in and see how you are going Shakey. I am totally healed now, just a tiny amount of numbness around the ears. but my only problem is with my ears. I thought one side of my face was higher than the other but actually it is my ear lobes. I virtually dont have an ear lobe on my right ear. He sort of stretched it down and sewed it to the side of my face and as the swelling went down, I could see this. I was thinking of having corrective surgery but just dont want to go through all that again. I will try hiding it with earrings but cant wear my hair up. I will send photos to Dr Nasir just so he can see. They do look quite deformed. But other than that, I am pretty pleased with the overall look. My turkey neck and jowls are gone and its very natural looking. So much that my sisters didnt say anything to me, just that I looked good and what was I using on my face now! Anyway, I hope things have settled down for you and would love to have an update.

Hello Shakey I was thinking about you and stopped by to see you are you doing?
I really wish by now your incisions are healed and you are able to see a great improvement. You have a beautiful face . I wish one day you'll be posting, if you feel like, new pics. Are you still experience bruising and swelling? I just wanted you to know someone here is thinking of you :-]

Thanks for posting your pictures. There are so many who just talk and talk but you never know what the reality is. Hope you're healing well now.

Dear Shakey, I too had surgery in Malaysia with Dr Nasir but thank goodness went through NOTHING like you have. I had mine done on the 12th April, when were you there? I had just a neck lift but had the scars around my ears, the back of my head like you and 3 staples either side of my upper face. I had no pain whatsoever... was very surprised and didnt need to take sleeping pills. BUT like you, the swelling was unbelievable. To say that you are back "to normal" in 3 weeks is a load of hogwash! I am now 10 weeks? after surgery and can only just look in the mirror and think that I am glad to have had it done. I still put heatpacks on first thing in the morning as there is still slight numbness in front of my ears and my lobes hurt. And yes, I think that one ear is slightly higher than the other and my mouth is not quite straight but no one else can see it. I had so many days of "What have I done, I want my old face back!" and got quite depressed but now I would do it all over again. I am so pleased with the results. So please be patient because it sounds like you really had a hard time and I think its going to take quite a bit longer for you to heal. I didnt have a problem with Dr Nasir but I was prewarned of his offhand manner and was ready for it. And I had the surgery at Beverly Wilshire where they were repairing the airconditioning but only stayed one night. And stayed at the Park Royal suites which I loved. I was one of the lucky ones who could go out shopping after 5 days but still had to cover up with a full headscarf because of the massive bruising and swelling. It WILL get better and you will be pleased with it all. He really is a top surgeon, I did so much research on him... found all sorts of info... which is why I went with him. A much better reputation than Melbourne surgeons. Please keep posting and I will try and cheer you up!!!!LOL!!! My hair is already growing back, a few wrinkles returned but it looks natural. My neck looks amazing which is all I wanted. You take care, keep your chin up and keep posting.

When you feel up to it post more current pictures. You had more surgery than I did in my last procedure. I had a prior lift, so I was just tweaked a little. I had a brow lift and neck lift 15 years ago. I just needed a touchup. You will take longer to heal, but you will look much better after a while. Your hair should grow back, your body just had a jolt. Thanks for posting the pictures, plastic surgery is not pretty (until later),
ZI 19 Jun 2012
Dear Shakey please please please do not regret one second this surgery. Look here how many really expensive surgeries went wrong. You and me and nobody can predict how we heal or how the result will be. One think we all here know : we all want to be beautiful and feeling younger :)) I know it is hard now but look at the good part: you're home, alive and your result will even surprise you soon.I can't wait to see your progress. And don't forget I'm here if you want to talk to someone.
Shakey 19 Jun 2012
Thank you all for your support. I had the surgery now about 6 weeks ago. Like MGM my eyes swell every day, then go down by night time, then next morning swollen again. Thank you for your prayers zizi, prayers go up to the Lord and HE hears. I posted the photos to let those who are thinking of having surgery, to see the real process they will have to go through. I think hollywood makes the word "facelift" sound so glamorous. Thanks to all for your support and im happy to be here for everyone too. Blessings and love to all.
ZI 19 Jun 2012
Oh Shakey even you go through hard time now, please stay positive. I have a feeling that soon your situation will improve . I am praying for you. Those 2 can make huge difference in your appearance, than the style of your clothes . 'm positively sure you'll look beautiful. Please communicate with us. We are here to support each other. We do care about YOU.
MGM1 19 Jun 2012
Wow Shakey, your pictures look rough right now. When did you have your surgery?
Shakey 18 Jun 2012
HI Sharon actually there is not a lot of pain. It gets uncomforatble for the first 10 days with the staples, but once they are taken out, its ok. The main pain has been the scar line above and below my eyes. I had this surgery done 28 years ago and it didnt hurt or take so long before. No I dont have to go back to Malaysia for follow ups, but if im not happy with final results, I will have to go back. Dr pulled left brow lift higher than right side, so I have one eyebrow slightly higher than the other, and the lower one has more of a hood over eye..Ill wait 3 months and see. Also Dr pulled cheek muscle on right side tighter than left and have a crooked smile. Again ill wait the 3-6 months they ask, then Ill decide. Im very happy with my neck lift, its amazing. I can only suggest to others intending on having surgery, RESEARCH and Interview your plastic/cosmetic surgeon. Look at his other patients before and after photos. ASK QUESTIONS! As we are paying for the service, we get to ask all the questions and interview them. Thank God for cosmetic surgeons, but there are a lot of cowboys out there, find the reputable ones. I posted they photos to show that its not a walk in the park getting a full facelift. Many women dont see these pics and have no idea what they are in for. Fortunately Ive had one before and knew what I was going to expect. I didnt post these pics to scare anyone, just to inform them as to the seriousness and reality that a facelift is a Major Operation carrying all the risks of major surgery. THanks for this webpage , great resource. Cheers to all!

Oh my, that looks so painful! Do you have to go back to Malaysia for follow-ups?
