Self-confidence Returning After 7 Years of Sinus and Ear Surgeries Left my Body Fat and Bloated.lipo to the Rescue! - Encino, CA

I first had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Sean Younai after a very dear friend of mine underwent a surgical procedure approximately ten years ago at his facility. I knew how hard my friend had tried for many years to tone his body through exercise and other natural remedies but some unwanted areas of fat would never seem to go away. He did research on all board certified plastic surgeons in his area and that's how he came to the practice of Dr. Sean Younai. I was so highly impressed with the results of my friend's body, that I made an appointment with Dr. Younai for myself. I too had troublesome areas where no amount of diet or exercise seemed to eradicate the unwanted extra corpulence. I was still nervous though about undergoing plastic surgery due to my own "troublesome" spots back then. I, like so many others, try to avoid pain like the plain. Also, I was able to mostly camouflage my extra bulge (it was mainly in one area, my abdomen). Flash forward to 2012: by then I had unfortunately undergone a series of ear and sinus surgeries (a total of eight) and upon recovery, my body was the heaviest I've ever been in my life. Also at this time, I was diagnosed with having a pre-diabetic condition due to the massively excess weight gain. I did not want diabetes. Also, at the same time, I was falling into a depression since I deeply desired to regain my toned figure and self-confidence back. Exercise and maintaining a healthy diet just weren't working with helping to remove the unwanted weight and unsightly bulges. Unlike before, there was no way to camouflage the fat. I was officially termed obese by my primary care physician. My next consultation with Dr. Younai was fantastic. He patiently listened and understood all my frustration and concerns regarding if I'd ever be able to regain my natural body type back. Unlike before, where there were just a few troublesome, unwanted areas of stubborn fat on my body, my abdomen was now unnaturally distended. There was fat on my back and other areas where I'd never had extra body weight in my life. My face was partially distorted (misshapen) due to the constant bloating resulting from the fact of all the sinus surgeries and part of my sinus cavity having calcified. My entire face looked nothing like I did before all the sinus and ear surgeries. I was depressed and avoided pictures and any mirrors every chance I got. It was all very distressing. The doctor explained to me that he could perform large volume liposuction in order to remove a significant amount of excess fat. He explained that not many surgeons performed such procedures but that he was one who actually did. Not just going on his word alone, I did my own research since I knew that due to my sinus and ear issues this was going to be a more involved surgical procedure than before (ten years ago). There was much more fat involved. Also, the bloating of my neck and face had not been issues before (but now they were). After undertaking an extensive research endeavor, I made the decision to finally undergo plastic surgery with Dr. Sean Younai.I would like to add that with all the previous sinus surgeries, being able to afford plastic surgery was going to be a financial strain. Dr. Younai understood my position and was able to work with me with both the cost and the areas that he could mostly concentrate upon so that I could receive the most optimal results without going significantly over my budget. Having a lot of questions, I found his staff to be professional, polite and helpful. What overall impressed me the most was their sincerity. One of my first jobs after graduating from college was as a flight attendant. In that field, you learn rather quickly to "read" people or rather tell when someone isn't being upfront with you regarding being truthful. In the latter part of winter of 2014, I underwent surgery with Dr. Younai. It has been approximately six weeks and already I have seen a vast improvement regarding my body. My face, for the first time in seven years is finally beginning to look like it had prior to the bloating and distortion due to the sinus cavity surgeries. My body is rapidly showing signs of returning to its tone and trim shape. I am back at the gym on a low impact exercise regimen. I will increase my routine as the healing continues. Overall, this has been one of the best decisions of my life. My health has improved (no longer pre-diabetic) and I no longer avoid mirrors. Best of all, my self-confidence is rapidly returning. There are many plastic surgeons one may choose in the Los Angeles area (or this nation for that matter) however, I cannot find the words that can truly recommend and compliment the incredible job that Dr. Sean Younai and the California Center for Plastic Surgery are doing. They are truly a top-notch facility that are able to help those with just a little stubborn bulge that won't go away to those such as myself with a massive corpulent issue. I am excited about how my body improves everyday. As with the majority of plastic surgery procedures it takes several months for one's weight to stabilize. After my weight has stabilized, I will proudly post a picture. I can predict now that it is sure to be fantastic. I say this not out of vanity but out of my entire experience working with Dr. Younai and his staff.
