Just trying to relax...bored put of my mind!

Healing is going well just very bored. Doing my best to stay occupied, TV and iPad. Thank God I'm not interested in food! I'm eating well but not wanting to eat badly. I can't wait to heal mad start working out! The bruising has taken over. Looks like I got beat with a ball bat. The lipo is what did me in, swelling and bruising are just sore. Got my Bromolain (sp?) today so hoping that helps. Off the Tramadol, just taking Advil now. Took a shower on Saturday and again today - felt so good! I had to laugh at my husband. Took my glasses off to take off the compression shirt so I'm blind as a bat. I feel something drip on my toe, I look down and see it's kinda reddish, ask hubby what's on my toe as I feel a second drip. He says, in an almost panicked voice, "It's breast blood!". I just busted out laughing! Not just blood, breast blood! Just a few more drops and it stopped. Don't think he'll ever live that one down, breast blood. :-)

Day 3

Still amazed at how well I'm doing. Just very sore from side lipo. I'm sleeping well, 7 hours+ at night, but I'm awaken by being stiff as a board. I get up, move around, take some Motrin, grab the ice packs and feel a little better. Tried the pillow under my knees and it helped some. I swear trying to sleep after a BR has got to be one of the worst parts! Still so happy I did it and now every day is one step closer to full recovery.

Day 2 post op

Still just sore and uncomfortable, nothing I can't handle. Taking Tramadol and Motrin. Sleeping on my back in this recliner....now that could be the death of me! Think I need to add a pillow behind my back tonight and see if it helps. Still so happy that I finally did it!!
