I had a great experience with Dr. Shaffer. The dermatologist was extremely thorough and explained exactly what was happening. It was uncomfortable but there were only a couple times where it actually hurt. I am hoping for a good brow lift and a sharper jawline primarily. There was an immediate tightness to my skin right after the treatment. One week later, my brows are definitely a little higher (They are above my glasses frames now, instead of behind them.) I'm excited to see what happens in the next couple months. Really can't think of any cons, except for the discomfort. I would definitely recommend taking some kind of painkiller (I took Tramadol a half hour before, and then Tylenol right before.) I also used MSM creme right after the treatment and for the next couple of days and had no pink skin or puffiness. No one knew I had anything done.

Pretty much an all-star event for me. I would definitely recommend have a dermatologist do this procedure though. It definitely takes knowledge of your facial structure and in the wrong hands, I bet could cause some burns and the like. Dr. Shaffer was excellent.
