My experience with my Tummy Tuck was better than I had imagined.
I had waited for a month and half to have my procedure done because Dr. Ashok was very careful to make sure I was completely healthy before surgery; to which I am grateful. It proved that he does care more about me as a patient. We had to wait for my blood type to come in and it took a little longer because I have a rare blood type. I was frustrated, but he was great and helped me to understand that it is better to be safe. Turns out that I didn't need it, but he had the units of blood needed if I needed it. He was very thorough to make sure that I would be safe during the procedure.
The morning of the surgery the staff were incredible. They were comforting, caring, and were aware of what I needed.
I saw Dr. Ashok before surgery so he could perform pre-surgery routines, and answered any questions I had.
As I arrived in to the OR, the team of nurses, anesthesiologists, and Dr. Ashok was there, and made sure I was doing ok. I knew I was in capable hands, and I felt very comfortable.
After I woke up from surgery the nurses made sure I was comfortable and were careful with my after care.
Dr. Ashok explained to me what he expected the evening after surgery and the day after surgery. His expectations were not unreal and were important to my recovery. I was able to get up and walk around with assistance the night after surgery, and the next day I was able to walk around the halls of the hospital.
A helpful hint: I was physically active and eating healthy before surgery. I feel like this was helpful for Dr. Ashok and for me. It probably made the surgery less complicated and go smoothly and it has made recovery easier for me. I followed the Dr. Ashok's orders.

Dr. Ashok is incredible. He is personable and I feel like he cared about me as a person and a patient. He wanted what was best for me before and after surgery. I was able to contact him at any time with concerns and questions. He was prompt and thorough in his responses whether it be a phone call or an email; which I really appreciated. I felt much more comfortable and confident in his ability to help me get what I wanted and what he wanted for me as a patient. I am extremely happy with the before and after results with Dr. Ashok's skills and experience as a plastic surgeon.
