Hi There. I'm a mother of 6, triathlete, concert pianist, and MBA, all wrapped into one. Like you, I am interested in excellence in all areas of my life. That is why when it came to to have a tummy tuck, I went with Dr. Fryer.
I did my research ( a lot of it ) and found him to be highly recommended. I also had people who worked with doctors behind the scenes at The University Of Utah Hospital ( a highly acclaimed hospital) tell me that their best surgeons referred patients out to Dr. Fryer.
Here's what stood out to me about Dr. Fryer:
-Bedside Manner: he took the time to answer my questions, ALL of them, and never made me feel rushed or unappreciated
-Professionalism: he painted a very realistic picture of what the surgery would be like, and what to expect with recovery. He always focused on me and I never felt like a number being processed through the system.
-Surgery Day: once in surgery, he did an excellent job of both repairing my tummy muscles, doing lipo on my sides to make sure I didn't get that love handles look that can come with a tummy tuck, and removing excess skin. I actually had a lot of extra skin and he ended up needing to do an upside down T which extended almost to my bra-line. Both incisions are very clean and I am very happy with them. The nurses told us post-op that I would probably be the only one to know that I had that vertical line once it healed. External, visual bruising was minimal. I have a pocket of skin at the top of my vertical incision that is still there and Dr. Fryer said that we would probably need to revise. We are waiting for 3 months to see what happens with it once the inflammation goes down. In three months I'll be going back and he plans to revise that area as needed, hopefully in-office so that as he said, he wouldn't need to charge me for the revision. Even with the need for a revision, I am very pleased with his excellent work.
-Aftercare and Follow-up: Thus far I am three weeks out and have seen him 3 times for follow up. I feel that he has taken the time to ensure that I have the best recovery possible with post-op care.
-Would I recommend him to my best friend? : You Bet! And I'd do this all again in a heart-beat. I am SO happy to have the tummy back that I had before 6 pregnancies.
