BA Revision, Implants Were 28 Years Old!! - Draper, UT

My original implants were done in 1986, 28 years ago! I decided to at least consult with Dr Richard Fryer after reading the many reviews here. Thank you Ladies for leaving them for us to reference! From the first appointment to the surgery and followup appointments, I have been amazed at how wonderful Dr Fryer is. Bedside manner, ease to talk to, attention to detail, knowledge, skill on the table, there is nothing that I am not happy about, period. I had wanted them to be below the muscle and he had thought initially that mine were above so instead of redoing them completely, Dr Fryer had advised that we would just keep it above the muscle. However upon opening me up, he saw that indeed the Dr who did the surgery in 1986 had placed them below the muscle so he just went ahead and took the old bits out and put in the new girls :-). Yes I say "old bits" because my implants had completely disintegrated and Dr Fryer took the time and effort to clean me up and take the many small bits out. In the evening, day of the surgery when he called to check on my recovery and spoke with my husband, Dr Fryer told him that he took out as much as he could and what was left were microscopic bits. Well, I have one final 3 month post-surgery appointment to go to but so far, I couldn't be happier with the way they look. They are still a bit tender around the nipples and are a bit hard but it has only been two and half months and they are still settling. They have dropped, happy about that, was concerned that they would be too high on the chest. The nurse who attended to me I believe was Brooke and she was great, very helpful with sizing (although they do not pressure you at all about deciding what fits your body). They leave you with various options to choose from and you have time to decide in the room by yourself. It was harder for me as I still had the old implants in there. I am so grateful that I found Dr Fryer and that everything went well with the revision. Thrilled with the results and happy that I went through with it. Thank you Dr Fryer! Tell you what, you will be the only one doing any plastic surgery work on me as I age ;-).
