3 month post op!
After allowing my body to fully recover and settle into itself, I can happily say that I have no regrets! I give so much credit to my amazing doctor, Dr. Richard Fryer in Draper, Utah. He has been awesome from start to finish and all in between when my emotions were getting the best of me.
As far as my physical update... I am 100% back to normal. I sleep on my side and even on my stomach with no discomfort. The oddest adjustment has been at the gym. Chest exercises are totally different now. Pull ups feel too weird so I gave those up. I can still lift weights but certain chest exercises I have had to go down in weight or eliminate all together. But yoga, jogging and other physical activities are all green lights and enjoyable. Swimming felt odd at first!
They really feel like my own. One more then the other. My left breast feels a lot more foreign in my body but my right one feels 100% my own. If I brush up on something I only feel different on my left side. It's the oddest thing. I still have slight numbness on the undersides of each breast but I don't have any nipple numbness or sensitivity. My incisions have darkened but my doctor assures me that they will fade but it might take up to 9 months.
I'm not to good about remembering to massage them. Oops! I take a vitamin E pill about once a week. I'm horrible at remembering to take them. My breasts are super soft and I can push them together easily. I am still so happy with my size choice, 350cc silicon gel. I could have gone larger but I am so glad I didn't. Don't forget girls... you don't have to get huge breasts to love your transformation. I am a 36B or 34C now and love em.
This is the first summer I can fill out a bathing suit and I am loving it! I was worried recently because I spent the week with my extended family and this was going to be the first time anyone would see me in a bathing suit post op. "Hi dad!!!!" gulp! Anyway...nothing was obvious and no one even noticed, which was what I wanted! If I wear tight shirts, yes, but I typically don't.
Hope all of you starting your journey are enjoying all these great journals! They were so helpful to me! Happy recovery to all you newly augmented ladies! It gets better I promise! Happy summer, everyone!
Heard/felt a POP!!!!!! Uh oh!
Holy Headlights!!!
Holy headlights, Batman!! So yeah... I have huge nipples! Like stick out like half an inch huge! They've always lived behind padded bras so they never were an issue but here they are! Font and center pointing the way!
My doctors office sells a set of nipple shields for $30 that I was pretty sure I'd need but I found a set at Kohl's for $12 but then just recently saw that Walmart sells a similar set for $9!
So anyone else struggling to keep their nipps under wraps, head to Walmart for a quick fix and let get these puppies under control!
Provider Review
Wonderful doctor that is very detail oriented and spends plenty of time answering questions. I loved his conservative approach and uses your bodies measurements to help you pick the perfect size. My biggest fear is going too big and he has assured me the size options I am considering are both great fits for my body. His staff is incredible and you can tell they love their jobs. The office is beautiful and wait time fine. I did have to wait to meet the doctor a little longer then I was hoping but it was ok once I was giving his uninterrupted attention and time. Our lengthy time together was spent answering questions, addressing concerns and walking me through the entire procedure. Post op care has been wonderful. He called the night of my surgery to check in on me and has checked in after my 1 week post op due to my emotional struggles with this big change. I appreciate his concern and feel like cares a great deal about his patients not just before but more importantly after. I am very happy with my decision to use Dr. Richard Fryer.
