Despite always being flat-chested, having a BA had never been something I ever really considered doing and wasn't something I was sure I would even really go through with when I did start looking; but Dr. Fryer changed all that. I stumbled upon him as I was doing research of PS in my area and not only did his results look fantastic and natural but there was a wealth of information on his website, in particular a breast augmentation planner about 30 pages long which answered most if not all the questions I had been meaning to ask whichever plastic surgeon I went with. By the time I made the consultation appointment, I was already pretty sure he was my first choice but meeting him and speaking with him is what really sealed the deal. He very patiently went over everything, answering all my questions (most of which had been answered by his planner) and concerns and helping me pick a size that looked natural and was a good fit for my proportions. I ended up making an appointment for surgery that same day.

I had surgery in October of 2014 and was in very little pain the day of surgery and whatever pain came afterwards was manageable enough that I only ended up needing to use only half of my prescription pain meds. I don't know if this is a personal pain threshold thing but I do believe it may have had something to do with his technique. Unfortunately my right breast ended up bottoming out which is always a risk with BAs but the funny thing was that I hadn't even noticed the bottoming out until he pointed it out at my 3 month post-op appointment. The bottoming out wasn't as glaringly obvious as some pictures you see online and up until that point I had been over the moon with my results but if they looked that good even when something had gone wrong, imagine how good they would look when the problem was fixed. He didn't charge me again for the procedure but I did have to pay for the anesthesia and surgical cost. I had the correction done a week ago and even though the pain was supposed to be worse than the initial augmentation (which it was) I was only on meds for about 5 days. I appreciate his downtime recovery because not everyone can take huge chunks of time off from work to recover.

This may seem long-winded but plastic surgery is always such a gamble and if i can help someone make the right decision as far as surgeons go then I would like to do that. I never understood people who would travel to a different state just for a breast augmentation but if I ever move out of Utah I will be flying back just so I can be attended to by Dr. Fryer.
