2 Weeks Post Op

On Friday it will be exactly 2 weeks post op. At this stage I feel great! I can walk normally without looking as if I've done 1000 squats and the bruising is starting to slowly go down to the final stages. I must say it feels great to feel like my old self again and not have such swollen and sore thighs but it really did just last about a week and a bit and definitely feels so much better!

I make sure I massage my thoughts every night and do the lymphatic drainage massage the nurse taught me. I do have a couple small lumps on my outer left thigh, a couple on the outer right thigh and one on my inner left thigh but they aren't too bad and I know if I massage them they will eventually go down so I'm not too worried.

Overall my healing process has been going really well and I'm really happy :) I've read a few reviews of others not healing well or having unevenness which actually scared me a bit before my surgery but luckily I haven't had any of those experiences and it has been great :) the 2 weeks have gone very fast!

Just had my procedure done at cosmos clinic,...

Just had my procedure done at cosmos clinic, double bay and am now up to day 2 post op and I'm feeling great!

After the procedure i did feel nauseous and threw up because i drank way too much water but if you take an anti-nausea tablet it eventually goes away. As soon as i got home i went straight to bed and rested all through the night and took the pain killers. I placed two towels down as well as the large pad the clinic gave me on top of the towels and had another pad wrapped around my compression garment as well as loose black pants on top of all of that. There was quite a bit of leaking but didn't get any on the bed which was great just on the padding. My thighs were quite sore but bearable when taking the pain killers. Also getting up to go to the bathroom made me feel quite dizzy so its important to take your time when getting up and it helps to have someone there just incase you need some assistance.

Day 1 post op
Woke up and felt fine but sore. I had a light breakfast and took my pain killers as well as antibiotics. Decided to take my compression garment off while lying down in bed around 11:30am and had it washed :) then eventually around 12pm got up and had my first shower. I got up very very slowly and took my time because i could feel i was getting slightly dizzy, its important to breathe properly during this tie and take your time. Definitely felt better after having a shower and went back to bed and laid on the padding while i waited for the garment to dry, once it was dry i put it back on and stayed in bed. Every now and then i made sure i would get up and walk around the house as its suggested but very slowly and carefully, i did this quite a bit because its important not to stay in bed and i felt less sore standing and walking than lying or sitting.

Day 2 post op:
feeling great!!!! Going back to work tomorrow :)
Ive been walking around the house with no problem, had a shower while the compression garment was in the wash, laid in bed while it dried, put it back on and have been moving around the house, watching tv, managed to vacuum a little bit, so i think my recovery is going well. Also i have been applying Arnica cream and bio-oil before putting my garment on after my shower and also again around 5pm. I have also been taking the antibiotic with no problem and have stopped taking the pain killers as i don't need them. It really just feels like a lot of bruising and sensitive to touch but bearable enough to massage the arnica cream.

Results so far:
Although there is swelling and bruising i can definitely see the difference in my outer thigh :) my inner thighs are definitely slimmer but they are quite swollen. i can't wait until 6-8 weeks but its only the 2nd day and i can definitely see the difference.

Its true when they say vaser lipo is not a 'weight loss' method, its definitely a sculpting method. I have noticed that the stubborn fat areas on my thighs are gone and i have had those stubborn areas since i can remember even when i was 3-5kg lighter in weight. Having this procedure has also inspired me to ensure i make the right eating choices so that i get the most out of it and maintain it :)

Also just wanted to mention the team at cosmos clinic were great and really helpful! All the nurses we're so nice and i felt really comfortable. Dr kashida did most of the procedure and dr ajaka would be present i think he was there checking how it was going but I'm not too sure as i was sedated. The 'happy' gas really helps, i actually fell asleep a few times. The procedure felt quick although i was in there for about 2 hours.

Hoping to post my before and after photos at 6 weeks.
