Heyyyy!

Hey yall! Long time no update! Sorry! Just wanted to pop in for a quick update. I'm over 6 months post of but I still have a lot of swelling without my faja. I'm not surprised since I heal very slow anyway. I still wear my fajas pretty much everyday but I do go a few days here and there without it. I haven't been working out or eating right but I know I have to do better. I know....I need to be beaten all up around my head. Lol! I've just gotten so comfy with my belly not sitting on my lap, that I don't know what to do. Even with the swelling, I still look wayyyy better than before. I feel good inside and out and I love the new me. I still keep in touch with Robles and her staff sometimes and I can't thank them enuf for what they did for me. I will forever be grateful because it is definitely life changing. I would do it all over again.

Another update.....

Even though I still have a lot of swelling, I'm glad I'm not shaped like a butterball turkey anymore. Lol! I took my measurements a few days ago (7 wks post op). I have a ways to go but I think I will be happy with my results. I'm not looking to have any crazy ratios...just to look better than I did. I don't want a damn toddler sized waist....u know? I'm still a thicker chick and that's cool with me.

Bust-Before: 44" After: 41" (-3")
Waist-Before: 43" After 34" (-9")
Hips-Before: 48" After 48" (-0)

Pre-op weight: 210 lbs
Weight a few days ago: 196 lbs
Height: 5'6"

I think my tt incision will heal up nicely considering I had that issue. That spot in the center is where my incision opened up. It's closed now but still fresh so I haven't put any type of fade cream or anything on it yet. I've only used rose mosqueta oil since it closed. Eventually, I will try silicone strips and stuff to see how it fades. Depending on how it heals, I may or may not cover it. I just may end up not giving a damn since I'll be happy my belly doesn't sit on my lap when seated. Lol!

I love my hips. I didn't seriously consider them before surgery because I thought I had hips and I would see them once I had the tt and lipo. While Robles was marking me up, she asked if I wanted hips. I was like yeahhhhh.....gone 'head and give me some! Just a lil bit! Lol! I'm so glad she suggested it because I'm happy with them so far.

My butt....I'm having a love/hate relationship with it. Some days, it looks good and other days, not so much. I will take a pic of it on a good day and post it eventually. It's still too early to know how it will turn out so I will just wait a while before I decide how I truly feel about it. I didn't ask for anything huge...I just asked for it to be reshaped mostly and just fill in the bottom booty cheeks. I respect Robles because she was very honest with me and made no promises on how it would turn out. Because I had butt implants before, she said there was no way of knowing how my butt would accept the fat with all of the scar tissue and stuff. Whatever....my butt wasn't really a priority anyway. If I decide to do something else to it later on down the line, then I will. I'm not opposed to doing another round. I also may get another breast lift at some point. Had it done in 2003 and they held up pretty good until the rapid weight gain from the depo shot. The boobs have good and bad days too. Lol! Anyway...we'll see what happens.

Update....

Feeling pretty good as of now. I went back to work this wk. Bleh! I could've gone back before now but I just didn't want to. Lol! I was enjoying my time off. I started getting massages last wk and they feel great. My guy is very good and charges $60 for the hr. He said he didn't feel anything abnormal like seromas or anything and thought I was healing nicely. Anyway, I never knew my skin was sensitive to anything until going thru this process. I thought I could use the lipo foam I bought against my skin since it was so soft. WRONG!!! I was sitting in jury duty scratching like a crackhead and was about to come up outta everything right there in front of everyone. That ish lit me up. Lol! So, that's a lesson learned for me. I put on my tshirt, then the foam, then the faja. It takes me a min to close the faja over the foam but I do it most days. Sometimes I leave the front piece of foam out. I will buy an ab board for more compression asap. I've had my faja taken in at the waist so that helps also. Another thing....I had to go thru quite a few types of gauze and stuff for my belly button before I found one that agreed with my body. The generic non stick gauze pads from The Dollar General Store is what has worked for me. Everything else was still keeping my bb irritated and it still wasn't healing right but after only 2 days, there was a 1000% improvement in the way it looks. I clean my bb, apply neosporin or biafine, then cut a piece of the pad, roll it up and tape it inside. This has worked wonders. U just have to play around with different products until u find what's best for u. I still keep in touch with Dra Robles to keep her updated on my progress. I will try and take new pics soon. I'm not good at the selfies so I will get someone else to take them. Lol!
